I’m AJ, a fine artist from New Hampshire.

Welcome to my internal landscape.

I started painting more seriously as a creative complement to my very analytical work as a biomedical engineer. I found I was spending most of my time, including free time, tethered to my computer. And that was not satisfying for the different, multi-passionate sides of myself. 

For me painting is both a creative outlet and a way to tangibly interact with the physical world and present moment. I work intuitively and incorporate unpredictable fluid mediums that encourage play and experimentation. And I love making a giant mess.

I work out of my home studio in Nashua, NH surrounded by books and often accompanied by a tiny feline.
